'Black Lake' revolves around the failing marriage of

Alana and her husband, Tom, following the recent

miscarriage of their first child.

Alana's father, Jonathan, has invited them Upstate

to celebrate the release of her sister, Clara, from a

rehabilitation center for narcotics.

Jonathan's spontaneous decision to bring a new,

and much younger, boyfriend along with him sparks

discomfort, whilst Clara's sexual advances towards

Tom, and Alana's worsening physical condition

eventually plunges the weekend into chaos.
